My heart is filled with repentance meditating this fact of life of Jesus with his disciples: Mt 6, 45-52.
-Jesus sends the disciples to cross to the other side by boat, because he was going to take care of the crowd.
– To say goodbye to them He ascends to the mountain to pray.
-He realizes the disciples tired of paddling in headwinds.
-In the early morning he goes to his disciples walking upon the waters.
-They get scared.
-Jesus tells them: “Courage, it is I! Do not be afraid!
-Rose with them in the boat and the wind ceased.
-The disciples were even more scared without understanding the deeds of the Lord.
-Their heart was hardened.

The disciples did not understand the multiplication of the loaves because they had hardened their hearts, are also not able to recognize Jesus walking on the sea, but the members of the crowd upon seeing the Lord touch them with faith and are cured.
Lord, grant us the grace of a simple and humble heart able to recognize you in the events of our day.
Lord, give us the grace to trust and recognize you, even when storms fill us with fear and sadness.
Lord use me to encourage the frightened speaking on your behalf:
Jesus tells them: “Courage, it is I! Do not be afraid! “
