We Must Not Underestimate the Power of Prayer

The Lord invites us to listen and obey: “hear, o Israel! The Lord our God is one Lord. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength! And you shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than this “ (MK 12, 29-33).

Pope Francis says : ‘ we must not underestimate the power of prayer of many! Since we are connected in God, we can do something even for those who are away, for those whom we couldn’t ever reach with simple strength, reach. We pray with them and for them to God, so that all us may be open to His work of salvation».

This initiative makes a lot of people have the opportunity to approach the sacrament of reconciliation and help many young people to find their way back to the Lord, in order to live a moment of intense prayer and rediscover the meaning of life itself.

Archbishop Rino Fisichella, the Pontifical Council for promoting the new evangelization, States that it is important to note that “the mercy cannot be reduced to the sacrament of reconciliation; it has a much broader horizon, which is that each of us is committed to become an instrument of mercy to the neighbor”.

Live with the penitent heart this day, helping many others to approach the throne of grace of the Lord, praying all over the world.

Father of mercies and God of all consolation, hear us!

Jesus, I trust in you!
