\"papa_voluntarios2\"Before leaving for Rome, Pope Francis, at end of the afternoon, Sunday, with the volunteers of World Youth Day (WYD) for thank them \u201cFor their work and dedication\u201d with which they accompanied, helped and served millions of pilgrim youth present in Rio de Janeiro this week.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWith smiles of each one you, with the kindness, with availability for service, you proved that there is more joy in giving than in receiving,\u201d stressed the Pontiff<\/span><\/p>\n

Francis said that the work realized by the volunteer youth reminded him of the mission of St. John the Baptist who prepared the way for Jesus. \u201cEach one in your way, was an instrument in order that millions of youth may have the \u2018way prepared\u2019 to encounter Jesus. And this is the most beautiful service that we can realize as missionary disciples: to prepare the way in order that all may be able to know, to encounter and to love the Lord.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Holy Father still asked the youth that they may always be generous with God and with the rest for \u201cyou will lose nothing\u201d, on the contrary, it great \u201cthe riches of life that one receives.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Francis explained that God calls for definitive choices and has a project for each one, Discover it, respond to your vocation means to wak in the direction of the jubilous realization of yourself.\u201d The Pontiff explains also that God calls all to holiness, but has a \u201croad for each one. \u201cSome are called to holiness in the sacrament of matrimony and others to priesthood.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dear you, perhaps some of you still do not see clearly what to make of your life. Ask this to the Lord, He will make you understand the road,\u201d Guided the Pope.<\/span><\/p>\n

And he concluded asking the youth that they do not forget anything that they lived these days of the pilgrimage and asked their prayers. \u201cYou can always count on my prayer and I know that I can count on your prayers.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

After the discourse, the Pope invited the youth to prayer a Hail Mary and conceded to all his Apostolic Blessing. Then he asked the youth one last thing: \u201cpray for me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
