Through this peace you have been called members of the same body. Be grateful.” Whomever is in peace has a grateful heart and whomever is grateful to God receives His Peace from Him.
When a person has the presence of God in his heart, we immediately recognize it. We can see that the enemy has a way of falsifying everything: Kindness, happiness…but peace he does not get. Where the Lord is present peace manifests, is manifest, and makes our heart to be filled with gratitude, because we recognize His presence in our life.

Therefore, the Lord says: “Be grateful. And all that you may do, through words and actions, do it in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

In all that you say or do, in all circumstances of your life, give thanks to God. It is clear that you cannot control what happens, good and bad things, wanted and unwanted, but you can control your attitude before them. And the Lord says to you to examine all and remain only with the good. Do not bring to your heart that which is no good. Keep what is good in your interior and guard these good things with gratitude. Allow only to come to you that which is good and useful, and may your heart be grateful. Upon acting this way, you recognize the grace of God and remain happy.

Recognize the divine grace is always a choice that does good, because you perceive that the Lord never abandons those that need Him.

Register for free and all the news from the blog by email http://goo.gl/2TeJHo

You already perceive that happy persons are those that are remembered with gratitude. They turn their hearts over into the hands of God and look to the passed always grateful, for they know that they will only overcome whatever pain thanks to the presence of the Father in their lives. They have gratitude for the passed., happy for the present and confident in the future, because they kow that the Lord is faithful and will never faith them.

For even though life may be hard – andGod never promised that it would be easy – it is always good, because it comes from the Lord. This morning, thank the Lord for the good things that happen every day.

Good things unite us to other persons, they fill us with the good and most important unite us to God. This brings happiness, gratefulness to our heart and love for life.

God loves you passionately. Do not lose faith in love and in the good, do not allow deceptions to do bad. Thank Him and recognize how He has been good for your life. Thus you will remain well. The Lord loves. Accept this love, accept that you are worthy of it. He loves you, because you are his child, because you have kindness and love in your heart, because you have known talents and still unknown ones, but near the Holy Spirit you will recognize them.

You need to discover your good side, discover what God has done in you and through you. The good side overcomes the bad side. You are a gift, a blessing of God. You are loved by Him, because He wants you always. When you recognize all these things, it will be easy to be thankful to the Father.

You are an eternal desire of God and it is this that makes you to be grateful to Him. When you feel love and desire by Him, you are grateful and love Him, because you know that the love of the Lord for you is greater than whatever thing.

We are surrounded by good things and good persons, only we have to open our eyes to comprehend that God gave us all this. Bad things are part of life, but what the Lord does through us is much greater and better than all the bad things that surround us.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one another, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. One thing I say to you. It is worth turning away from sad memories to live the love of the Father, for thus all will be given to you more and more.

Márcio Mendes

Canção Nova Community

translated from Portuguese

Todays’ Word is Colossians 3:15-17: “And let the peace of Christ control your hearts, the peace into which you were also called in one body.
