\"ademir_costa_rezando\"<\/a>A lax conscience is a result of a life tainted by\u00a0<\/span>relativism<\/span>\u00a0and dragged down by\u00a0<\/span>secularism<\/span>\u00a0.\u00a0People who have not known Jesus, are in ignorance.\u00a0But we are not ignorant.\u00a0We know Jesus Christ and had a “personal encounter” with Him. So a practicing Catholic is conscious of the laxity s\/he lives.<\/span><\/div>\n

This is a great danger to our lives because we are endangering our salvation.\u00a0Many allowed their faith to be undermined by secularism and relativism and now they live a lukewarm faith.<\/p>\n

We can also experience a pharisaical laxity;\u00a0fooling people by donning “masks”; we live vs what we are, pretending to be a saint (a), but in fact we are being hypocritical. We forget that nothing escapes the eyes of God.\u00a0A lukewarm faith of appearances leads one to hell.<\/p>\n

We know that God is merciful.\u00a0But mercy only works in our lives, when we allow ourselves act.\u00a0The slack person will say, “the day of judgment, Lord! I Preached, healed, freed, sang … “And the Lord will answer him: I don’t know you, infidel!<\/p>\n

I claim the Holy Spirit to cleanse me of all defilement of relativism and grant me the strength to not be dragged by secularism into the world by living with a lax conscience that leads to hell.<\/p>\n

Lord have mercy and give me your Grace!<\/p>\n
