{"id":16057,"date":"2015-05-27T01:01:49","date_gmt":"2015-05-27T06:01:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/?p=16057"},"modified":"2015-05-06T21:06:56","modified_gmt":"2015-05-07T02:06:56","slug":"evangelize-with-your-attitudes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/2015\/05\/27\/evangelize-with-your-attitudes\/","title":{"rendered":"Evangelize with Your Attitudes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"content-post\">\n<article id=\"post-23813\" class=\"post-23813 post type-post status-publish format-standard has-post-thumbnail hentry category-palavra-do-mes\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"socialmedia-top\">\u00a0<span class=\"notranslate\">Jesus passes by the sea\u00a0 and casts his gaze, as released on Simon and Andrew.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Whatever your occupation the Lord wants to use it to rescue people.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> You are called to fish in another &#8220;Sea&#8221; and make your profession a &#8220;network&#8221;.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> The Lord has a vocation and a mission for each of us, just as he had for his apostles.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Many adults and young people are with the Lord, hear His call and start to follow him.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Some think, however, that the way to follow Him is to drop the profession itself, give up their work, and everything ends up going wrong &#8230; It is not about changing careers, let alone to leaving the job, but to seek the &#8220;other Sea &#8220;and to use the &#8220;net &#8220;of their profession,&#8221; to fish for men&#8221; for God.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Often, we fall into the error of thinking that God never called us, for He only makes special people for this.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> But this is not true!<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> We can not look only to the so-called specifically called: a priest, a nun.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Today he has called many to become evangelists and prophets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a class=\"cboxElement\" title=\"Evangelize with their attitudes\" href=\"http:\/\/img.cancaonova.com\/cnimages\/especiais\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/03\/monsenhior.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"lightbox[23813]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-23821 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/img.cancaonova.com\/cnimages\/especiais\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/03\/monsenhior.jpg\" alt=\"Evangelize with their attitudes\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/img.cancaonova.com\/cnimages\/especiais\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/03\/750x500.1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n<\/a><\/strong> <span class=\"notranslate\"><strong> The prophet is not the one who guesses the future, but one that acts as intermediary for what God wants to say to us.<\/strong><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> <strong>So He needs men and women of flesh and blood who are his mouth, because He wants to speak through us;<\/strong><\/span> <strong>to<\/strong><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong> prophesy.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Just as Jesus became man to be among us, acquired the culture, the language, the ways of the people to evangelize\u00a0 and bring them back to God, we are also prophets among the people.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> Prophets are needed in the fields, small towns and neighborhoods of large cities.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Working, they leave in the morning, take the crowded bus and go home tired. They\u00a0 speak the same language of suffering people, who go through the same situations and difficulties.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> Prophets are among students, among teachers, in sports, in health care, doctors, nurses, psychologists, dentists &#8230; In each situation there should be prophets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> If we do not take these environments as our field of evangelization, the world will take care of them.<\/span> It<span class=\"notranslate\"> is not to transform the place where we live and work by preaching pulpit, but to evangelize as a professional that should be working for the Gospel in that environment, being of God and doing there what he wants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"notranslate\"> In everything we do, whether with words or attitudes, we are evangelizing our peers.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> The world is not very interested in simple words, but in those who testify.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> It is the preaching by one&#8217;s own life.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"> His story is a great testimony and much stronger than many words.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monsignor Jonas Abib<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/padrejonas.cancaonova.com\/palavra-do-mes\/evangelize-com-suas-atitudes\/\">Portuguese Version<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0Jesus passes by the sea\u00a0 and casts his gaze, as released on Simon and Andrew.
