“I am the good shepherd.<\/em><\/span><\/span> The good shepherd lays down his life for his sheep “(John 10, 11).<\/span><\/div>\n

We want to contemplate Christ the Good Shepherd.<\/span> The first thing needed for that is to take to heart this truth: Jesus is not a Pastor alone, but is the Good Shepherd!<\/span> Just as there are the good doctors, the good fathers, good mothers, good priests, there is one minister who is good.<\/span> Good at it, \u00a0is qualified and good at what exercises;<\/span> It is not simply “good” goodness, because it makes good things here and there.<\/span> Good because it is good, good because it is efficient and effective in what carries out the good because he\u00a0is able to do everything beyond its\u00a0capabilities.<\/span> So is our Good Shepherd, Jesus!<\/span><\/p>\n

And where is the good that we contemplate in Jesus?<\/strong><\/span> The first thing: He gives his life for his sheep, can die for them.<\/strong><\/span> The Lord does not take care of the sheep with contempt and disdain.<\/strong><\/span> He does not just feel that he is the Lord only of that herd, but He is the Father, is the Pastor of all, <\/strong>for\u00a0\u00a0one who pastors and cares tenderly, with love and dedication of His sheep.<\/span> And rejoices when His sheep rejoice, cry cry when His sheep and His heart is restless when one of His sheep is lost.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Good Shepherd Jesus is a reference for all of us;<\/span> we need to be good priests, we need parents to be good parents, mothers are good mothers, you’re good at what you do and you do not do your craft just a craft, something in which you are there because circumstances put there.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is sad to know that a doctor is a doctor only because he studied medicine, but he it is not a good doctor and does not give his life to save his patients.<\/span> So how bad it is to know that a father\u00a0became a father because he made his wife\u00a0pregnant and children came, but he is not a father who gives his best, not his life for his sons.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Good Shepherd wants us to be good at what we do or we exercise in this life!<\/span> The opposite of good is not bad, it is to be mediocre.<\/span> We can not be mediocre in what is our responsibility in life!<\/span> On the contrary, we need to be really good, good completely\u00a0and give the best of ourselves in what we do!<\/span><\/p>\n

Today we want to learn from Jesus, who, in his gesture to be the Good Shepherd, is able to aggregate and join the sheep, even those that are scattered, because He is not content with just those who are with Him, but will behind they are lost to unite them and aggregate them.<\/span><\/p>\n

We want to take a new spirit, a new heart and a new willingness to take what are our responsibilities and our commitments to life lest esmore\u00e7amos, lest they be discouraged or fall into the mediocrity, because we need to be good as our Lord is good being the Our Shepherd!<\/span><\/p>\n
