{"id":16392,"date":"2015-06-30T01:01:23","date_gmt":"2015-06-30T06:01:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/?p=16392"},"modified":"2015-06-30T05:06:47","modified_gmt":"2015-06-30T10:06:47","slug":"let-us-teach-our-neighbors-to-practice-the-laws-of-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/2015\/06\/30\/let-us-teach-our-neighbors-to-practice-the-laws-of-god\/","title":{"rendered":"Let us teach our neighbors to practice the Laws of God"},"content":{"rendered":"<p lang=\"pt-PT\" align=\"LEFT\"><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>Let us teach our neighbors to practice the Laws of God.<\/strong><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>We can not give up any of Jesus&#8217; teachings or to teach others to obey them.<\/strong><\/span> <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p lang=\"pt-PT\" align=\"LEFT\"><span class=\"notranslate\"><em>&#8220;Think not that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets.<\/em><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"><em>I did not come to abolish but to bring them to perfection &#8220;(Matthew<\/em> 5: 17).<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"pt-PT\" align=\"LEFT\"><span class=\"notranslate\">It is a tremendous mistake to believe that Jesus came to change and abolish laws or simply debunk the prophets\u00a0or those who have taught us to live the Divine Law.<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\">Jesus did not come to reject\u00a0what was done by the prophets;<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\">He came to bring to perfection and fullness to the way that had been initiated long before.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"pt-PT\" align=\"LEFT\"><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>It is a mistake for someone to say, &#8220;Do not worry about the commandments [of God]!<\/strong><\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>It is important only to love.<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"notranslate\"><strong>When we love we already do everything! <\/strong>&#8220;It&#8217;s true that love is the fullness of divine law, but at the same time, it helps us fulfill the precepts of God&#8217;s law and put into practice the commandments of God&#8217;s Law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"pt-PT\" align=\"LEFT\"><span class=\"notranslate\">We can not fall into the mistake of disregarding the laws of God and simply say, &#8220;I love a lot!<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\">I give my best for my neighbor. &#8220;<\/span> <span class=\"notranslate\">We can not give up any of Jesus&#8217; teachings or fail to teach others to obey them or teach them how to follow them incorrectly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"pt-PT\" align=\"LEFT\"><span class=\"notranslate\">Jesus teaches us with the Laws and Commandments of God.
