Full trust in God is achieved through faith<\/h2>\n

Deacon Nelsinho Correa, in the program “Sorrindo pra Vida”[Smiling at Life] invites us to cry unto the Lord increase our faith, because it leads us to leave\u00a0our life in the hands of the Father with confidence.<\/p>\n

The meditated Word is in <\/span>Hebrews 11:1-12 NABRE:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Faith is the realization of what is hoped for and evidence of things not seen.Because of it the ancients were well attested.\u00a0By faith we understand that the universe was ordered by the word of God, so that what is visible came into being through the invisible.\u00a0By faith Abel offered to God a sacrifice greater than Cain\u2019s. Through this he was attested to be righteous, God bearing witness to his gifts, and through this, though dead, he still speaks.\u00a0By faith Enoch was taken up so that he should not see death, and \u201che was found no more because God had taken him.\u201d Before he was taken up, he was attested to have pleased God.\u00a0But without faith it is impossible to please him,e for anyone who approaches God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.<\/em>
\nBy faith Noah, warned about what was not yet seen, with reverence built an ark for the salvation of his household. Through this he condemned the world and inherited the righteousness that comes through faith.\u00a0By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive as an inheritance; he went out, not knowing where he was to go.<\/em>
\nBy faith he sojourned in the promised land as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs of the same promise;<\/em>
\nfor he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and maker is God.<\/em>
\nBy faith he received power to generate, even though he was past the normal age\u2014and Sarah herself was sterile\u2014for he thought that the one who had made the promise was trustworthy.<\/em>
\nSo it was that there came forth from one man, himself as good as dead, descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sands on the seashore“<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The faith, that illuminates our lives and in our hearts, is a certainty\u00a0of what we don’t see. <\/span>The fact of believing in God teaches us to have meaning in our journey.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many want an explanation for everything that they live, but faith does not explain it, just calls us to believe. T<\/span>emptation strikes\u00a0our confidence in the Lord, because, if you don’t trust in him,we will murmur and blaspheme against the Father.<\/span><\/p>\n

By faith, many men gave their life\u00a0to\u00a0Jesus Christ, and this is a gift we received from God on the day of our baptism. <\/span>On the test, it will sustain us. <\/span>And God uses such\u00a0trials to strengthen us. <\/span>In the painful moments, believing in the Lord enlightens us and shows us the way forward.<\/span><\/p>\n

Faith motivates us to seek answers in God. <\/span>Reading the Holy Scriptures is asking Christ for advice. <\/span>The Word gives us the answers we are seeking.<\/span><\/p>\n

To have faith is to find a meaning for the suffering, discovering\u00a0that it is not in vain. <\/span>Trust in the Lord.<\/span><\/p>\n
