“Get up, take your mat\u00a0and you” (Jo 5.9). <\/span>Those were the words of Jesus to that man who for 38 years was by the pool unable to walk.<\/span><\/h3>\n<\/hgroup>\n

After so many years ill, the man was full of joy, but had to face criticism of the enemies of Jesus.<\/span>The Jews said to the man who had been healed: “it’s the Sabbath! <\/span>Who told you: pick up your bed and walk. <\/span>(V12). <\/span>He didn’t even know, because Jesus had disappeared in the crowd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Soon after, he met Jesus and Our Lord said to him: “Behold, you are healed! <\/span>Do not sin, lest something worse happen to you “(V14). <\/span>There, the man understood who Jesus was.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lord is a refuge and force, always ready, a help in misery.<\/p>\n

“Lord, we ask for your mercy. <\/span>We are sinners and our brothers and sisters are all sinners. <\/span>Cure us, Lord! That we may encounter You and\u00a0<\/span>be converted. <\/span>Give us this grace, Jesus. <\/span>Amen! “<\/span><\/p>\n
