{"id":17479,"date":"2016-07-06T01:01:53","date_gmt":"2016-07-06T06:01:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/?p=17479"},"modified":"2016-05-17T05:34:26","modified_gmt":"2016-05-17T10:34:26","slug":"through-the-word-of-god-we-achieve-eternal-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/2016\/07\/06\/through-the-word-of-god-we-achieve-eternal-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Through the Word of God, We Achieve Eternal Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"body-apps\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"wrap-header\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"wrap\">\n<section id=\"content\">\n<section class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<article id=\"post-23643\" class=\"post-23643 homilia type-homilia status-publish hentry\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<h2><strong><span lang=\"en\">Note, save and meditate the word of God, because when we do, our soul begins to experience the taste for eternity<\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en\"><em>&#8220;Verily, verily, I say to you: If someone keeps\u00a0my Word will never see death&#8221;<\/em> <\/span><span lang=\"en\">(John 8, 51).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Our God is the God of life, is the one who brings meaning\u00a0and\u00a0fullness forever to us, because the life which the Lord has given us became corrupted by sin and was dead. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The one who gave us life came to rescue us and give full meaning to our lives again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">When we are in Jesus, when we give\u00a0our lives to him, we do not fear nor death. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">How many sad people\u00a0are there\u00a0without hope or comfort not knowing what to do! <\/span><span lang=\"en\">When death knocks at the door of someone, when we lose a loved one, it is clear that the pain comes to our heart, we are human and we miss that person. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The problem, however, is not how much she did, but we\u00a0lose\u00a0the breath of life when we stop to think about our lives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">When we asked people what they fear most, they answer us the day they will die. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Who fears death doesn&#8217;t know the meaning of life, has not\u00a0fully give his\u00a0life to Christ and has not started to taste, the land\u00a0and\u00a0the value of eternity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">What to do with our lives? <\/span><span lang=\"en\">We keep the word of God, let us live and be filled in our life with eternal words. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Amid so many\u00a0activities\u00a0that we have in this life, we cling too hard on the earthly\u00a0and become focused only on the Earth. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Our life is not only Earth, and yet we have to live all the things we need, we must not lose the sense of eternity!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Observe, keep\u00a0and meditate on the word of God, because when we do that, our soul begins to experience the taste for eternity, the taste of the things of heaven, the value of spiritual goods; <\/span><span lang=\"en\">so, our hearts begin to look at things\u00a0above!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">We can&#8217;t live alienated, despising this world, as if nothing mattered. However, w<\/span><span lang=\"en\">e can&#8217;t give too much importance to our earthly activities, because everything passes.
