More and more people sought the healing of the soul, faithful have also shortened the time from one confession to the next. <\/span>But you have to stay tuned because it is not enough to confess to several times, we must confess\u00a0correctly. <\/span>But how do we do it?<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, confession is telling the truth, report something that was done; to\u00a0<\/span>confess means assume such an act. <\/span>In the case of sacramental confession, it means the sins, errors committed against God’s commandments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Four steps for a good confession<\/h3>\n

We can say that it takes four steps. <\/span>In the first, the person must put himself in prayer,<\/strong> asking God for the grace of a sincere contrition; <\/span>in the second: a good examination of conscience\u00a0praying to\u00a0remember what it was like to walk the path of holiness from the last confession to the present; <\/span>then, go to\u00a0the priest and confess. <\/span>Finally, after the confession,do your\u00a0penance.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, the first step<\/strong> is to pray, pray to God asking for a heart repented of the evil done, because not always does one repent.\u00a0O<\/span>ften, the conscience is slack, i.e. until you know you made a mistake, you cannot\u00a0come the repentance. <\/span>The prayer will be to ask\u00a0God for the grace to be convince of the evil of the act and to repent.<\/span><\/p>\n

Second step:<\/strong>\u00a0It is important to make a good examination of conscience, i.e. take stock since your\u00a0last confession about the wrongs committed. <\/span>Right now, it is important to\u00a0say that sin confessed is sin forgiven. <\/span>If a sin\u00a0has been confessed and not longer\u00a0committed, it is not necessary to confess it again.\u00a0<\/span>Another interesting tip: If you have difficulties, afraid or ashamed to confess, do the following: make a note of your sins. <\/span>This will help you and the priest.<\/span><\/p>\n

The third step:<\/strong> get a Catholic priest, a priest linked to the Roman Catholic Church, as he received the Office\u00a0to celebrate this sacrament by the authority of the Bishop who ordained and the local bishop. <\/span>In the name of Our Lord Jesus Christ and of the Church in which the priest forgives sins.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t worry: “what the priest is going to think of me?” or “the priest is a sinner like me!”. <\/span>The priest will not be thinking that way. <\/span>Imagine! <\/span>If that were the case, we wouldn’t be able to live alone thinking about the evils of the human being. <\/span>He receives the grace of welcome, hearing, giving a direction.<\/span>By the laying on of the hands of the Apostles, by the grace of apostolic succession, the priests are employees of bishops, of the first apostles who gave this power to the other Apostles to reach today. <\/span>Why confess? <\/span>Because we believe in forgiveness and in the authority to forgive sins given by Jesus Christ to the Apostles (Jo -23 20.22). <\/span>The priest is sinful, but is chosen;<\/span>and regardless of their Holiness when he teaches and forgives sins, one is forgiven.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fourth step:<\/strong> after confessing, the father gives some guidance. <\/span>He might ask\u00a0the faithful to say the Act of contrition; <\/span>then, he gives penance. <\/span>On the Act of contrition, there are long, others short and formulas that can also be prayed spontaneously. <\/span>The priest usually gives some penance for the faithful can do reparation for teh\u00a0evil; it\u00a0<\/span>can be a prayer, a gesture to that resumes holiness lost by sin. <\/span>And if the priest does not give penance? (i.e. he forgot)\u00a0<\/span>Calm down! <\/span>The confession is valid. <\/span>Say a prayer and have the attitudes of a Christian, i.e., resume the life of the commandments, live life wondering how Jesus would be\u00a0\u00a0if he\u00a0were in your place.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t cheapen this the sacrament of confession<\/h3>\n

The confession is a blessing, so don’t cheapen this, don’t treat it any other way. <\/span>Examine your conscience, confess and propose to sin\u00a0no more. <\/span>Be firm with yourself and pay attention to gaps that you leave\u00a0the enemy. <\/span>When one\u00a0stops\u00a0praying\u00a0and watching, anyone becomes easy prey.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pray your personal prayer, go to mass, your\u00a0devotions and pray the Rosary. <\/span>Watch. Am I in a good<\/span>\u00a0environment? Should I watch this program?\u00a0<\/span>Finally, as stated above, remember that it is not enough to confess many times, it is necessary to break away from sin. <\/span>With the grace of God, continue ahead\u00a0and have the goal of Holiness.<\/span><\/p>\n
