{"id":17581,"date":"2016-08-03T01:01:39","date_gmt":"2016-08-03T06:01:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/?p=17581"},"modified":"2016-06-11T09:51:49","modified_gmt":"2016-06-11T14:51:49","slug":"my-sin-does-not-say-who-i-am-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/2016\/08\/03\/my-sin-does-not-say-who-i-am-2\/","title":{"rendered":"My Sin Does Not Say Who I Am!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"title\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"entry\">\n<h2>I am more than my SIN &#8230;<\/h2>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en\">&#8220;This people honors me with their lips only; their<\/span><span lang=\"en\">\u00a0heart, however, is far from me. &#8220;<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"en\">(Mt 15.8)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/files\/2014\/03\/12947807164_08849c1d4a.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14534 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/files\/2014\/03\/12947807164_08849c1d4a.jpg\" alt=\"12947807164_08849c1d4a\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/files\/2014\/03\/12947807164_08849c1d4a.jpg 500w, https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/files\/2014\/03\/12947807164_08849c1d4a-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><span lang=\"en\">Long ago God\u00a0has\u00a0been talking to my heart about<strong> Judas Iscariot<\/strong>. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Because it is difficult to understand what really happened to him, <em>it&#8217;s hard to understand what was the moment he decided to no longer follow Jesus.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\">You know, what I have learned in this time is:<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\"><strong>It was not exactly the sin of Judas which led him to commit suicide<\/strong>, and it wasn&#8217;t even the sin of him that made the consequences of this error to be irreparable. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">I have in my heart, that even though Judas delivered Jesus, but had he really repented and turned back, Jesus would have forgiven Him, even though Jesus was crucified. <\/span><span lang=\"en\"><strong>But the problem was that the heart of Judas, over time, moved away from the heart of Jesus.<\/strong> <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Jesus the more he talked and walked toward the Judas, Judas&#8217;s heart was closed to the words of Jesus. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">And really that&#8217;s what impresses me most!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Judas walked with Jesus, side by side. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Listened to Jesus every day, lived with Jesus, played music\u00a0with\u00a0Jesus, saw the miracles of Jesus. <\/span><span lang=\"en\"><strong>But still his heart was moving more and more away.<\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en\">Even if Judas had committed suicide, although the Word shows us a certain regret having betrayed Jesus, <em>I can&#8217;t believe that Judas didn&#8217;t love Jesus!<\/em> <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Judas loved Jesus. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The fact that he despaired when he had the understanding of the mistake, it is a sign that he loved Jesus. <\/span><span lang=\"en\"><strong><em>But Judas let despair take care his\u00a0heart, and didn&#8217;t believe that God&#8217;s mercy could overcome such treason.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Judas didn&#8217;t kill himself for lack of love, Judas killed himself because of the desperation of the error that was made.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\"><em>With that I learned that it&#8217;s not only our sin that\u00a0takes us away\u00a0from Jesus, but it is the attitude of not having our heart &#8220;connected&#8221; to the heart of Jesus.<\/em> <\/span><span lang=\"en\">For the more &#8220;ugly&#8221; are our sins; <\/span><span lang=\"en\">It is our desire to be of God and to return to Him\u00a0that will determine the course of our life! <\/span><span lang=\"en\">It&#8217;s one thing to sin, it&#8217;s another thing to not want to more follow in the footsteps of Jesus &#8230;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en\">My SIN does not say who I am! <\/span><span lang=\"en\">But it&#8217;s my heart that determines who I really am, because only God is able to see our heart as it\u00a0is!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Let us learn from this that Jesus forgives us, and always forgives us. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">But most have this consciousness, <strong><em>it is important not to forget that our hearts can step away from the heart of Jesus, and this removal danger we kill God&#8217;s life in us!<\/em> <\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"en\">If you\u00a0take\u00a0your SIN, your consciousness of its error, but also the consciousness that you belong to God, <strong>then you won&#8217;t\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><strong><em><span lang=\"en\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>be afraid; to go back to God &#8230; <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Don&#8217;t be afraid to ask for forgiveness and start all over again!<\/span><\/em> <\/strong><span lang=\"en\"><strong>Don&#8217;t despair, ever!<\/strong> <\/span>Don&#8217;t let your heart be invaded by anguish and fear.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">God waits for me and you, with the desire of our heart to start all over again!!!
