\n“<\/em> <\/span>Brothers, have patience until the coming of the Lord. <\/span>Behold the farmer: he waits with patience forthe precious fruit of the Earth, till the autumn or spring rain. <\/span>Also, it is time for patience and strengthen your hearts because the coming of the Lord is near. <\/span>Brothers, don’t you complain to each other, lest ye be judged.<\/span>Behold, the judge is at the gates. “<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>“1. <\/span>Ability to tolerate setbacks, disappointment, misfortune. <\/span>Patient: great patience “<\/span><\/em>.<\/p>\n

According to the dictionary, The first Portuguese language dictionary definition of the word “patience” means: the ability to tolerate the predicament. <\/span>The Lord asks us to have patience, because life is not made only of “hallelujahs”, but it has its inconveniences.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Lord tells us to “quiet the\u00a0soul” and hope in God. <\/span>If something hasn’t happened yet, it’s not the time.<\/span>Have patience until the coming of the Lord, and as\u00a0Monsignor Jonas Abib always says, the Lord will come, He will; <\/span>in fact, He is en route\u00a0and we have to be prepared for his return.<\/span><\/p>\n

We know that our meeting with the Lord can be with our departure from this life. <\/span>And how funny when we comment about someone who died: “damn, I spoke the other day with him!” or “these days, he walked right by me, seemed to be a Bachelor Party!”. <\/span>We need to be ready, because we don’t know the day or the time it will come or we’re going to meet him.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the writings of the Can\u00e7\u00e3o Nova\u00a0Community, Monsignor Jonas says that the Lord will come and not notify you when He will come. <\/span>When we go to Holy Mass, we are programmed for this, we know that we’re there to commune and to hear the word of God. <\/span>But Christ, when He\u00a0comes, won’t give us a road map, we won’t know the day nor the time.<\/span><\/p>\n

He visits us in many ways. <\/span>There are times when He visits us in person or in a group, and we have to be sensitive to these visits. <\/span>Particularly, God visits by nature, and I always thank him: “thank you, Lord, for the rain, the flower, for animals”. <\/span>This is the importance of understanding God’s visits! <\/span>Be sensitive, have the wisdom to understand these visits. <\/span>If we lose sleep? <\/span>That is the call of the Lord to speak to us. <\/span>So let us in prayer. <\/span>In times of pain, disease and the cross, God visits us too.<\/span><\/p>\n

The hard hours cannot be neglected, they are precious God visits. <\/span>He’s talking to us in time of suffering. Is it<\/span>\u00a0possible to live a life without suffering? <\/span>What God is speaking to us at this time?<\/span><\/p>\n

How many say they bring\u00a0children into the world, but we have brought forth\u00a0children for God. <\/span>Change our ways of thinking and talking. <\/span>The word of father and mother has a very large weight on the lives of their children.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wait until the coming of the Lord. <\/span>The things we do are for today, because we don’t know when the Lord will come. <\/span>Have patience with what we have\u00a0be\u00a0attentive to God’s visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

God speaks to us not only in the Church or when we stopped to pray, but also during the\u00a0day the Lord gives us the grace to live his word. <\/span>We have\u00a0will have patience\u00a0for the troubles and setbacks.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do charity. It\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0is God’s visit to the other. In the winter, in the time of the cold, why<\/span>\u00a0don’t you do charity, by donating the clothes that you no longer use?<\/span><\/p>\n
