{"id":18128,"date":"2017-01-11T01:01:14","date_gmt":"2017-01-11T06:01:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/?p=18128"},"modified":"2016-12-06T07:28:39","modified_gmt":"2016-12-06T12:28:39","slug":"has-sadness-arrived-in-your-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/2017\/01\/11\/has-sadness-arrived-in-your-life\/","title":{"rendered":"Has Sadness Arrived in your Life?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Sadness is the Devil&#8217;s favorite daughter<\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Sadness is like pain: it comes without warning. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">But we can&#8217;t deliver. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">On the contrary, the secret is to resist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\">Knowing this, the Lord instructed us:<\/p>\n<p><em><span lang=\"en\">&#8220;Do not delivered thy soul to sadness, do not torment yourself in your thoughts. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The joy of the heart is the life of man, and an inexhaustible treasure of Holiness; <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the joy of man makes his life long &#8220;<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en\"> (Sirach 30:21 -23).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">God gives us the order to not give ourselves over to sadness, because it has caused the loss of many. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">He doesn&#8217;t want to see us die because of it. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Many people have already died spiritually and psychologically because of the sadness. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">People have sadness rooted in heart! They n<\/span><span lang=\"en\">eed to remove everything and get rid of the root of bitterness.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_28211\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\">\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-28211 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/img.cancaonova.com\/cnimages\/especiais\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2016\/02\/monsenhor-600x353.png\" alt=\"monsenhor\" width=\"600\" height=\"353\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\" lang=\"en\">Monsignor Jonas Abib-Credits: New Song File<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span lang=\"en\"><strong>The radical liberation from sorrow is the work of the spirit<\/strong>. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Only he is able to eradicate from us all grief and make that joy\u00a0spring abundantly within us. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">But He needs our cooperation, without it nothing will be done.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">It is necessary to be open to all roots being removed. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">God gives us free will: the decision is ours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">They often insist on cultivating negative feelings, become masochistic. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">We can&#8217;t be brooding over past sufferings. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">In this way, we end up opening a huge gap for the enemy to act.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\"><strong>Sadness is the Devil&#8217;s favorite daughter<\/strong>, so he likes to cultivate and accommodate sadness in our hearts.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">We can&#8217;t be bitter, negative people, rough, bitter, angry and resentful. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">On the contrary, <strong>we need to take ownership of the fruits of the Holy Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, benevolence, faith, self-control.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Somehow the temptation seeks an opening to act in our lives. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">There are people who wish to sincerely be of the Lord, but end up allowing\u00a0the sadness take control of the situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\">The word of God commands us:<\/p>\n<p><em><span lang=\"en\">&#8220;Not delivered thy soul to sadness; <\/span><span lang=\"en\">don&#8217;t torment yourself in your thoughts &#8220;<\/span><\/em><span lang=\"en\">(Sr 30, 21).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">We can&#8217;t deliver ourselves to temptation: We belong to God. Did you e<\/span><span lang=\"en\">ver notice how many times the Lord guides us?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\"><em>&#8220;render unto Caesar what is Caesar&#8217;s, and to God what belongs to God&#8221;<\/em> <\/span><span lang=\"en\">(Mt 22.21).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span lang=\"en\">Of God comes the joy, from the devil comes grief. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">We are from God, so we are from Joy.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Sadness is responsible for many diseases and suicides. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">If there is sadness, as you fight the enemy; <\/span><span lang=\"en\">forego the sadness, as if you are renouncing the devil.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Only those who fight and do not let themselves be slaughtered by the setbacks of life find true joy. <\/span><span lang=\"en\"><strong>Renounce all that grieves you to Him:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Lord, because I believe in You, I renounce all sadness that came over me.
