When we teach the Holy Scriptures for a person, in fact, we want to take it to be at the feet of Jesus<\/h2>\n

“The eunuch replied: ‘ how can I know if anyone does not explain it? ‘”<\/em> <\/span>(At 8.31).<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

One of the most beautiful passages of the acts of the Apostles is the one of\u00a0\u00a0the Ethiopian eunuch, Minister of Queen of Ethiopia. <\/span>That eunuch knew, reading the Holy Scriptures, but he was thirsty to understand, to know to which they referred. <\/span>He saw, in the Holy Scriptures, a treasure for his\u00a0life, so Philip, sent by God, went to him, because he was thirsty and opened his heart to God’s\u00a0word.<\/span><\/p>\n

God sent his Word to many people who are thirsty, but needed help to understand and get to him.<\/span>When Philip comes to the Ethiopian Prime Minister and asked him if he has understood the Scripture was reading, his\u00a0response is classic: “How can I understand if there’s no one to tell me?”.<\/span><\/p>\n

My brothers and sisters, many people need us to explain the Scriptures to them. <\/span>And what is it to explain the Scriptures? <\/span>It is to teach. <\/span>Do you recall that the Mission of Jesus, in the midst of us, He was more than just preaching the word, but teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n

Teaching is how you teach in a school, at home. <\/span>It is to sit on the side, have patience, educate and the ability to say: “God wants to teach us that with his word”. <\/span>It is one of the most noble and important tasks for evangelization: the task we teach each other to live the word of God with simplicity. <\/span>You don’t have to be a connoisseur, a Sage, a theologian. <\/span>Each has your mission, your function, but all of us, with humility and openness to the gift of the Holy Spirit, we can teach each other to live the word of God.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first thing: submission to the Holy Spirit.<\/strong> <\/span>We must let him enlighten us and lead us, take us to the people who need to understand the word of God. <\/span>The second thing: submission to the person of Jesus<\/strong>. <\/span>The Scriptures, from start to finish, they want to show us who Jesus is. <\/span>Sometimes, we want to stay in peripheral situations of the word of God, discussions that do not lead to anything about the Word. <\/span>It’s not that! <\/span>It is to teach the word leads us to Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we teach the Holy Scriptures for a person, in fact, we want to take it to be at the feet of Jesus, so that they know him as Lord and Savior, because He is the master, he in shape and teach. <\/span>In this way, teaching someone is taking him to be at the feet of Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n

When the Minister saw what Philip taught pedagogically, instructing on the Holy Scriptures, he began to speak according of the Holy Scriptures and announced to the eunuch who Jesus is. <\/span>So, the eunuch opened the grace of the Spirit.<\/span><\/p>\n

People open to the grace of the spirit when we don’t talk about us, but we announce and proclaim Jesus, we show that he is the Lord, the way, truth, life and salvation for our own life.<\/p>\n

Brothers and sisters, let us not allow ourselves in any way, not to teach, educate and show to our neighborhood and the world that salvation is in Jesus.<\/p>\n
