{"id":18583,"date":"2017-06-12T01:01:12","date_gmt":"2017-06-12T06:01:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/?p=18583"},"modified":"2017-05-17T06:41:45","modified_gmt":"2017-05-17T11:41:45","slug":"lets-open-our-heart-to-the-peace-of-god","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/2017\/06\/12\/lets-open-our-heart-to-the-peace-of-god\/","title":{"rendered":"Let's Open Our Heart to the Peace of God"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en\"><a class=\"entry_author_image\" href=\"http:\/\/www.microsofttranslator.com\/bv.aspx?from=&amp;to=en&amp;a=http%3A%2F%2Fhomilia.cancaonova.com%2Fauthor%2Fpadreroger%2F\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/img.cancaonova.com\/cnimages\/canais\/authors\/12_thumb.jpg\" \/><\/a>The love of God is shed deep\u00a0into our hearts, and each<\/span><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><span lang=\"en\">\u00a0one of us can plunge into the His peace.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/h2>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en\"><em>&#8220;<\/em> <\/span><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><em><span lang=\"en\">I leave you peace, my peace I give unto you; but not as the world. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Don&#8217;t let your heart be \u00a0bothered or intimidated&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/span><span lang=\"en\"><span lang=\"pt-PT\">(John 14, 27).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><span lang=\"en\">The gift of peace is divine and Heavenly, it is a gift from the heart of God. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The peace that God gives us is the peace that comes from him; <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><\/span><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><span lang=\"en\">peace that is pure and is its essence.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><span lang=\"en\">Jesus is giving us his peace and not the peace that the world gives us, because world peace may simply be absence of conflicts, wars or something along those lines. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Peace is something much deeper, it goes in the intimate part of our soul and our heart, puts us in communion with God and with each other. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Peace is the fruit of love, which generates peace in our hearts.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en\"><span lang=\"pt-PT\">The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, and each<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><span lang=\"en\">\u00a0one of us can plunge into the peace of God. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">We have conflicts? <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Yes! <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Don&#8217;t we look at the difficulties,<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"en\"> problems <\/span><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><span lang=\"en\">and situations, but we have a different way of fighting, we are fitted with the gift of peace. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">We&#8217;re not immune to war, we go to war and fight against the enemies of the soul and the heart.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en\"><span lang=\"pt-PT\">Our medicine, our gun, above all, is the peace that comes from the heart of God, the peace that God gives us and that, above all, does not let our heart be disturb with difficulties, with tribulations<\/span> <\/span><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><span lang=\"en\">and with all the difficult situations that we face in this life. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">We need to let our hearts find peace in God, curing our afflictions, which contain our troubles, and gives us peace and tranquility<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"en\"> <span lang=\"pt-PT\">for living, evangelizing and love.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">We don&#8217;t\u00a0understand tranquility as we didn&#8217;t have difficulties, is not contrary to another. Rather,\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"en\">difficulties are being overcome in that peace that comes from the heart of God. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">I&#8217;m not lost in a fog or now do I bow in front of the afflictions and tribulations I face in my life, I bow before the peace of God, before the spirit of God which is given.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"pt-PT\"><span lang=\"en\">It is interesting in acts of the Apostles: we hear of &#8220;beig spent by many tribulations to enter the Kingdom of God&#8221;. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">The tribulations we&#8217;ve been through in our lifes do not to take our peace; rather<\/span><span lang=\"en\">, there is much evidence that we learn to live the peace of God even when we are covered in a whirlwind of trouble and tricky situations.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\"><span lang=\"en\">May the peace of God to invade our hearts!<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\">God bless you!<\/p>\n<footer id=\"autor_info\" class=\"entry-utility\">\n<figure class=\"entry-thumb\"><\/figure>\n<div class=\"entry-bloco\">\n<h2 class=\"entry-title\">Fr.
