In times when we feel alone, God calls us into intimacy with Him<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

Psalm 141 is the hymn composed by David, when he was praying in the cave, to take refuge from the pursuit of King Saul.<\/span>\u00a0Often, we need to stop and, even on our own, know that God is with us.<\/span>\u00a0We must ask and beg for the Lord’s mercy.<\/span><\/p>\n

The name of this Psalm is “Hour of the Testing”.<\/span>\u00a0What is the ordeal you go through?<\/span>\u00a0What is your greatest need?<\/span>\u00a0Give it now to God, whatever it is.<\/span>\u00a0Maybe you, like David, have to run.<\/span>\u00a0David had to take refuge in the cave because Saul wanted to kill him.<\/span><\/p>\n

David felt abandoned, but there in the cave was his refuge, his assurance.<\/span>\u00a0There are moments in our lives when we feel lonely, without anybody, abandoned.<\/span>\u00a0At such times, God calls us into intimacy with Him.<\/span><\/p>\n

The inner desert is the total stripping of oneself.<\/span><\/p>\n
