Go in peace! &#8220;(Lk 7, 47-50) The effect of God&#8217;s forgiveness on the penitent&#8217;s heart is so great, that he has the life-transforming power of a lifetime. He who seeks forgiveness of sins frequently in Christ not only receives a new life, but gains divine strength to overcome sin. Jesus shows this power through love and mercy achieved: &#8220;the many sins that she has committed are forgiven , because she showed much love.
