\"\"<\/a>It happened on November 2, 1971, at the beginning of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. I was not a very distinguished priest among my colleagues. <\/span>I began to learn to play guitar in Theology and even stood out a little, but I was an ordinary priest.
\n<\/span>We had, in the city of Lorena (SP), a good group of young people, many young people, not only from Lorena, but from other dioceses, who also participated in this group. <\/span>I felt that this group did not have much action, so I invited Father Irineu to preach and set fire to those young people.
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>I could not stand to stay until the end of the talk. <\/span>I went to the chapel and told the Lord I did not know what was going on, but I was asking Him: “Give me!”
\n<\/span>“The Holy Spirit will come upon you and give you strength” (Acts 1, 8). <\/span>The Holy Spirit fell upon me! <\/span>God came to my aid, gave me dynamo. <\/span>I was no longer the same priest, I was active. <\/span>Two things happened: I was set on fire by the Spirit, then I “burned” the others and they “burned down” the whole wheat field.
\n<\/span>Let us ask today again: “Lord give me your Holy Spirit!”
