{"id":8048,"date":"2011-08-09T01:01:57","date_gmt":"2011-08-09T05:01:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/?p=8048"},"modified":"2011-06-14T06:57:34","modified_gmt":"2011-06-14T10:57:34","slug":"faith","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/2011\/08\/09\/faith\/","title":{"rendered":"Faith"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Faith is the certainty of what we hope for, assurances of realities that are not seen.&#8221; (Hebrews 11:1)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/files\/\/2010\/08\/pe_bruno.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5104\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.cancaonova.com\/catholicismanew\/files\/\/2010\/08\/pe_bruno.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a>Naaman\u00a0had\u00a0already dipped four times in the water and\u00a0nothing\u00a0had happened,\u00a0he\u00a0looked at\u00a0the\u00a0place where the leprosy\u00a0was\u00a0and\u00a0can\u00a0see\u00a0that\u00a0it\u00a0was still\u00a0there.\u00a0But\u00a0Naaman\u00a0does not\u00a0give up\u00a0and continues\u00a0to\u00a0dip into the\u00a0water\u00a0of\u00a0the Jordan River\u00a0confident\u00a0that the\u00a0Lord God\u00a0can heal\u00a0his wounds\u00a0even\u00a0looking at his\u00a0body\u00a0and seeing that the\u00a0wounds\u00a0were there.<\/p>\n<p>Many times we look that nothing will happen that God did not intervene in our lives and situations, but as Naaman needs to have this eye of faith to believe that God will act in a certain moment.<\/p>\n<p>A little further in this text it is going to speak that the Fathers of the faith saw the promises from a distance and they believed and embraced these promises.
