Today, we had the opportunity to present Neil Velez and Flavinho in preaching to the 2nd Congresso of Latin America. We had a small group of Latino Parishioners watching via our video system in the church. It was fascinating to bring Canção Nova live to Somerville, MA. The system we use to do this is our internet connection through RCN and our video system through New England Power Sound of Kittery, ME.

Neil and Flavinho preached some powerful words that as a North American were quite poignant. What is most interesting is that he was not directly speaking to us Listening in to preachings to the Spanish and Portuguese speaking audience allowed us to listen as third persons.

Neil brought out his question of why he cannot see miracles happening in the United States and heard God tell him that the North Americans feel they do not need him and so God cannot do much in the United States.

How often as Americans do we not encounter that exact reality, especially during the week that two legislators in Connecticut wanted to have the state take over our Church.
