What Is the Most Beautiful Thing in Life

When we find ourselves truly with Jesus and we allow Him to drive our life,we will be living our lives differently. We begin to realize a new way of seeing. We cannot remain restrained to what already happened in our life as a function of tomorrow.

Today, Jesus is calling us toward new roads for our lives and we need to follow them. We cannot wait for tomorrow that which is to be done today. We live this day as if it was the only and last day of our life. We may not permit ourselves to have many worries and agitations of life to stop us, and we may live whatever form the day calls us to this day. Our own Lord said to Martha:

“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.” (Luke 10:41-42 NIV)

Before we do what we plan, we need to have the wisdom of Mary, the sister of Martha, who sat at the feet of Christ to listen to Him. Certainly, when we take the same posture as this woman of God, our time bears much more fruit and we become capable of realizing things that if we only used our intelligence, our efforts would not be enough for us.

Therefore, in all moments we invoke the name of the Lord.

Jesus, I trust in You,

Luzia Santiago.
