All Good We Have Comes from God

“Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Ps 37).

Many times, At the end of the day we are given a word of wisdom in our heart with some inspiration, with a good proposition or with a holy desire to do the good. We must desire ardently that this may always be the case because they are views of God in our life, these inspirations manifest themselves in different ways and we need to pay attention to them. All the good does not come from ourselves,  but from God himself.

“Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart.” (Sl 36 NIV)

When we do the good with sincerity of heart, so simple may be our gesture, but this signifes that our heart is united to Jesus, because He is the fountain of all good and of all grace. We learn to love and to do good with Christ, because by ourselves, we are not capable of doing good. The invitation for us on this day is:

”to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.” (Ti 3,1-2 NIV).
We ask the Lord today the grace that we may be guided by the Holy Spirit in all moments of our life in order that we may do good works.

Jesus I trust in you.
