“Where you treasure is, there is your heart.”
It was this that pushed Maria Magdalena to go so early to the tomb and encounter herself there with the resurrected Lord, Himself. Jesus immediately called her by name: “Maria” and she recognized Him, because He called her by her true name.
For Christ, each person is unique and is called to experience and contemplate the face of God. When this happens, we are capable of choosing to accommodate the Lord’s mission as what happened to Mary Magdalene.
Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’ ”
Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her.(John 20,17b-18 NIV).
She was the first to announce the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ; Our mission is not different to be realized by her. We need to announce with our attitudes that Christ truly ressurected.
We witness a victorious faith in our resurrection, principly for those that live daily with us.
Inviting us, today, to cultivate the presence of Jesus. Although we may not see Him, we can recognize his presence in our daily lives.
Jesus I trust in You!
