We are children of God and naturally we should do that which is proper to the Lord and that which is in gratitude to Him.

It is proper to the Lord to do good in all things and to always do the good; it is this road that He counsels us: “Seek to do the good, not the bad, that you may experience more life.” (Amos 5:14)

It is always a challenge to choose the good, because our own nature, many times, inclines itself to the bad, but with the help of grace from the Almightly, we can continue to follow His example.

God’s love leads us to love our neighbor: if this does not happen, some thing in our life is wrong because the Word of God assures us: “If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. (1John 4:20 NIV)

Lord, teach us to do always do the good and to love unconditionally our brothers, the same when all show them, when when all shows itself contradictory inside and outside of us.
