The Mirror, the Show and Me

We don’t know the hour, the exact moment that the Lord will come. Neither do we know if we will go to Him before He comes to us. The encounter, still, has been confirmed.

Time of preparation: What will you do? How is preparation going? How shall you be encountered? What clothes will be the most adequate? Ask the man in the mirror while the clock runs. This could be my last of my days: How will I end them? Today, did I love? What will be my legacy?

The Life on this earth can be compared to a practice… preparation for a great feast, the great show of eternity that the doors are ready. Therefore, a great show already commenced in practice. The spectacular that is for seeing will be brilliant with images of these days: Mistakes and successes, failures and fixes, smiles that overcome tears, looks that that see beyond the present reality. Dreams and hopes… Scenes so common, able to bring forth an unhurried look.

My house, my family. My friends. With what commitment do I dedicate myself in each practice?

This is a creature of such brief existence! One breath, one night, one candle that goes out, when such cannons of light light themselves. How brief it is, poor man, your life on this earth before that great event, the show of eternity.

Answer me Oh man in the mirror, how is your practice going?

The sunrise of the great day, that never sets, already I perceive emerging. Your Heaven commences here, Oh mirror, in how much hope you live. Give of yourself the best dreams of a different world, constructing the kingdom of love.

Love is not a mere chord, but a vital track, that enriches with its compassion and invites to triumph in the rocking dance, new song each day, continually without end.

Great hug,

Maranathá
