Spiritual Progress

To achieve spiritual progress, we need to recognize that we make mistakes, that we are not infallible. And that in each error we learn a lesson.

Our pride, self sufficiency, vanity and perfectionism impede our accepting that we can grow, despite our mistakes and experiences from wrong choices.

When we accept our weakness, as a child who in beginning to make his first steps, falls and gets up, so we are in the certain road to reach spiritual progress.

St. Ignatius of Loyola teaches:

There is no spiritual progress if one does not take the greatest benefit from lessons that come from previous experiences.

Self control is retaken permanently from lived experience.”

Deus nos abencoe.
