The Blood of Christ Restores Human Relationships

The First Letter of Peter Chapter 1 verse 18 has the following affirmation: “you were ransomed from your futile conduct, handed on by your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold but with the precious blood of Christ as of a spotless unblemished lamb.” (1Peter 1:18 NAB)

The rescue from our wrong way of living happens through the mediation of the Divine Lamb who shed his blood on the cross for this. It is the blood of Christ that promotes the restoration of the human person to the image similar to this his Creator. In the only and holy sacrifice of Christ lasting and effective happens the possibility of the human person returning to his original state and becoming also a found of love and grace.

Asking that our relations may be marked profoundly through the blood of Christ is to be of the full form participating in the living sacrament, over all of Eucharist and confession or Reconciliation. This is because sin is the reality that presents itself in human relationship, provoking profound ruptures in oneself. This rupture made through sin, in the relationship of two persons, can be closed and resolved with the divine intervention that happens through mediation of Christ in the person of the priest in the act of confession of sins.

I believe that all marriage when they have problems in the relationship whether fighting, moral and physical agression, misunderstandings, should immediately procure a priest to confession and receive the grace of reconciliation through this sacrament, where the blood of Christ washes all sin, eliminates guilt, gives the opportunity to begin again, of a new life totally restored.

I think that You and I need to expose explicitly our lives to two, to the strength of the blood of Christ, therefore, the sacrament of reconciliation needs to be a fundamental part of our Christian life. The saying is to draw close to Christ through this sacrament.

God bless your decision in this regard.
