This morning during personal prayer, The passage of Galatians 5 came to me. It  invites us to live according to the Spirit and not to allow domination through the instincts of the flesh. This fight that all the days we bring against the tendencies of our nature puts us almost up against the earth. It does not favor the search that we should have for the things above.

The saints also crossed the same fight in this sense. I remember the passage from the Diary 1694 where St. Faustina tells that she encountered a person that had abused her kindness and that hurt her. Her blood that boiled in her veins and although she was determined to know all manner of sudden (instinct) she saw herself before the Mercy of God and took the decision of speaking with the person as God would speak if He was in her place (acting through the Spirit.)

And she could perceive the fruits. It was not without a fight as also it is not without a fight that you have the same experience. We ask the assistance of the mercy of God that helps us in these moments.
