I started to reflect on the Word of God that is in Ecclesiastes 3:1-7, that tells us that there exists a time for everything:
There is a moment for all and a time for every thing under the sun:
A time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to harvest:. . .
A time to die and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to cry and a time to laugh, a time to lament and a time to dance, a time to throw stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to separate; a time to seek and a time to lose, a time to keep and a time to throw away; a time to tear and a time to sow, a time to silence and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate, a time of war and a time of peace”.
God gave us this life here on earth, that is a simple preparation to live the true life in Heaven, in eternity. And to live this life here, God gives a time, a moment that flies.
No one knows how much he or she has on this Earth, how many years in this world. Perhaps God gives you some 90 years, or maybe 80, 60, 50 who knows.
Jesus tells us this in His Word, no one knows the day and the hour of His coming. We should be prepared in order not to be surprised and He does not only refer to his second coming, but rather also to death. Because the founder of Canção Nova (New Song) Monsignor Jonas Abib, says quite wisely that if Jesus does not come [in our time], we will be going to Him.
Therefore, in this moment, I make the following question: How much time do you have on this Earth? This question was born in the music of a Brazilian Catholic singer, where he says : How much time do you have? Will you know? And it is here I want to add the following: “Love while there is time“.
Is the hour that I ask you about this, about the anger that you have for a person, and it is months, perhaps years that you have not spoken to him or her, perhaps that person is a friend, your brother or sister in the community, the congregation or of blood. Perhaps it may be your own dad or mom. Will you have time to love this person these persons that you hurt or that hurt you. . .
You have to love while there is time! You have to pardon while there is time! Because tomorrow may be too late! As a known TV host says here in Paraquay: “In life brother, in life” Of what value is crying after the death saying that you love the person? Why not do it now?
Now there is still time!
And if the person already left, give him or her over to God in a moment of prayer in your repentance and say to God to give that person a hug of love for you.
Brother, Sister love while there is time.
