This afternoon the grace of the event and of the Word Himself is to allow ourselves to be seduced by the Word. Today there are many persons seduced by advertisements, but today God invites us to be seduced by the Word. Reviewing all theology of the Word of God, the Word is perfect communication of the Father in Jesus. It is all that which the Father would like to say to me and to you, therefore, Jesus is the Word.

The liturgy brings us in showing what this word does, that it is alive, dynamic, it moves, that it goes against all accomodation. It is not a word that you read and it informs you, in it you are formed, you are conformed. The word of God is efficient, produces fruits, it is sharper than a two edged sword. It penetrates until it divides soul and spirit, joints and marrow.

Allow yourself to be seduced by the Word that provokes in us this revolution that sustains us. When we live here to a place that will not be easy, therefore, we need to feed ourselves with the Word. The liturgy tell us: “We belong firm in the faith that we profess”. (Hebrews 4:14b) We remain strong! We should remain comfortable, but we should remain, that is a word, and word indicates action. The word invites us to remain firm and not to stay in our house watching one program after the other; not to remain bogged down in ourselves.
