Lord Jesus, how desperate I am today with the news that I just received, of the life of my son/daughter, whose health is very shaken, we have no other alternative but to put all in your loving hands.

O Lord, you are known as the great physician, and I know that you have the power to cure, and I know that you do not change, therefore, we are very happy that You are with us in this moment so difficult for us parents. We certainly greatly need your help. My child is sick! And you Lord know that when our children are sick all is going bad with us.

We are doing all that is possible for us, going to the doctor, seeking all type of help, the medicines, but the news does not encourage us, . . . but we want to return also to You, and the Holy Spirit, if there is a diagnosable illness, show the doctors the cause, reveal Lord the correct diagnosis, a treatment possible for us and for our child, that you hands may be the hands of the doctors, that your Holy Spirit may be the discernment for them, and for their prescription, their sonogram to localize this illness, we depend on You, Lord.

I have looked for help in the prayers of the Church, in prayer groups, but today I want to put my hand on this my child and pray as I never prayed for him/her before, and in this moment I want to make a step in faith, allowing that You, Lord, put your hand on mine and do your curative work.

In the story of our family, there appear many illnesses, I know that they may be genetic, through blood, they could be through a virus, bacteria, but if it is some form of spiritual illness through involvement in occultism, I want also to renounce [all forms the occult] and of curses on my child, in order that he/she may be washed in your blood.

I know Lord that you are not going to abandon an afflicted mother, an afflicted father, a son or daughter afflicted and sick, I want that your healing may be instant, I want it in your perfect time and in your perfect mode, I am turning it over into your hand in order that you may do the best for him/her, not for us!

But if this limitation may help us to defeat it, if he/she is to live well, give my child the best condition, the best medicine, so he/she lives with better dignity.

As other parents did in the bible, I put my child in Your loving hands and I ask that the Lord simply who is God docile and loving, merciful and gentle, heal my child. Jesus my hope es in You, I know that you are not going to abandon us never.
