The Trinity as Reference of a Mature Relationship Between Father and Son

The Father is made flesh and lives among us. (John 1) From the Father becomes the Son and the two remain as one. In this relation a link is made of a third, that is lucidity, the Holy Spirit.

In the Holy Trinity we can have a living together of different roles that relate to themselves in a base of equality. Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

I see myself in this analogy to identify a healthy relation of adult sons with their fathers. Differentiated roles but in a position of equality. From adult to adult can be born a relationship of friendship. Dissolving dependence and establishing  partnership. Thus the father leaves being the father as a function and the son leaves his subordinate role. They establish exchanges.

Happiness of the son that upon celebrating Fathers’ Day may be celebrating the day of one of his best friend, who knows the best of all his friends. In this day, the feelings are joy, jubilation, thanks. On the contrary, when the son thus is son even have grown and the father thus in the father that dominates with fear of losing his position, bitterness on Father will embitter  Father’s day as a day of anguish.

In faith something similar happens. When in relationships with God in the condition of immature sons, only they want to ask without offering much. We see God as a punitive Father,  that many times we hide ourselves from him principally when we believe we are in error. A fruitless faith. But if our relationship with God gives us a condition of adult to adult, we will make promises and partnerships, becoming missionaries en construction of the Reign. we are partners, We make happen the mystery of the Holy Trinity, where we become one with the Father under the light (Which is maturity of relationships) the Holy Spirit.
