There is an throne in your heart, and you give it to whom you want. Give this throne to Jesus, King and Lord, who wants to enter it humble, simple, poor, with love, forgiveness, mercy in your heart and make it similar to His or  allow that Lucifer, the usurper, to fill you with pride, arrogance, self-sufficiency, wealth, power, glory, addictions …

Lucifer does not want to you to be simple, humble, poor; on the contrary, he wants you to be like him. He wants your heart like his, authoritarian, impure, malicious, sensual. He wants to make you greedly like him.

To whom are you going to give your place. Do not right away respond so quickly: “To Jesus, To Jesus!” It has to be a concrete thing. There are only two optioins, the true King, who is Jesus, or the usurper king, who is Lucifer, the prince of this world. Both want to ascend to the throne of your heart. And the truth is who it is who cedes the throne to one or the other is us.
