In all the moments, we need to ask the Lord who directs us, so that in all the His will may be done in our life. We do not have the full vision of things; and it is not always what presents itself as being good before our eyes is good in fact.

We are not able to see beyond appearances, therefore, we can easily be mistaken. Only with the help of the grace of God we can make certain choices. St. Peter, upon proposing the choice of a new Apostle to take Judas Iscariot’s place, before all prayed to the Lord, in order that he might choose the right person: “Lord, you know the hearts of all. Show us which of these two you choose to take their place in this ministry and apostolate, the place Judas abandoned in order to follow his destiny! Then the lot fell to Mathias who was joined to the number of the eleven apostles.”

Aprendamos hoje com o grande apóstolo a orar ao Senhor em todos os momentos da nossa vida, para que o sonho de Deus a nosso respeito se realize plenamente.

We learn today with the great apostolate of praying to the Lord in all moments of our life, in order that God’s dream in respect to us may be fully realized.

Lord, teach us to pray incessantly, in order that we may not deviate from You will.
