There is much talking about winning freedom today. The Word of God says to us: “If Christ frees us, we will be truly free.” (John 8:36) The true freedom consists in the capacity of seeking to practice the good; is the capacity of man to make the choice and to choose for life.

God invites us daily, in every moment, to decide always for the good; good of all, good of men for God and so that we may know Him. The choice for the good means to renounce all forces of death inside of us, it menas to want and to do the good for all people,  including those that do not want good for us.

The search of the good brings us to a great intimacy with God, The friends of God are men of peace. With this, we do not want to say that we are going to stop suffering, but God comes to our help completing that which He Himself said in the Gospel: “Come to me all you who are tired for I am meek and humble of heart, my yoke is soft and  light.” (cf Mt 11:28-30) God has made it that through your decision of doing the good, God brings peace to your heart.
