Eucharist the Pledge of Life

14079270990_a01b33a584_zThe more we share, the more life increases within us.Through our feeding ourselves on the body and blood of Jesus, we will have eternal life in us. Through the Eucharist we receive, we are sure to be resurrected on the last day as the Lord promises. It is God’s promise.

You need to care for the body and preserve it, because it will resurrect full of eternal life. Jesus tells us: “My flesh is real food and my blood is drink indeed” (John 6.54).

“Anyone who eats this bread will live forever” (John 6:51). Therefore, Lord, I love and proclaim: “Yes, Lord, you are alive in the Eucharist, I believe, but increase my faith.”

In the Catechism we read: “§ 1404 The Church knows that the Lord comes even now in his Eucharist and that he is there in our midst. However, his presence is veiled. .”So, celebrate the Eucharist “expectant beatam spem et nostri Jesu Christi Adventum Salvatoris – awaiting the blessed hope and coming of our Savior Jesus Christ,” asking “to satisfy us of your glory forever when you will wipe every tear from our eyes. Then, gazing at you as you are, we will be forever like you and sing your praises without ceasing, for Christ our Lord. “
