“God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him” (1 John 4:16).
The certainty we need that God loves us. We are the image and likeness of Him, and love like Him. He gives to us without expecting anything in return. Love is free, so it is necessary that we communicate through our works. Like the father who loves his son and does everything for him, so we must love each other.
On this day, let us resolve to, in all our actions, act with kindness, love and patience with all the people we meet.
Let us pray: Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like yours.
