It seems to me that very easily, we drift away from 
the experience of Jesus and His way up to Jerusalem to be crucified.
We forget that we follow Jesus, with Him, we take up our cross and die on it for our resurrection.
The way of the Cross, especially for us Christians, is a path of service to whom is in need, from a smile, offering our presence, to fully commiting our lives to those who have the most diverse needs.
Therefore, the authenticity of our Christian life is directly linked to how we relate to the cross.
