Let us teach our neighbors to practice the Laws of God

Let us teach our neighbors to practice the Laws of God. We can not give up any of Jesus’ teachings or to teach others to obey them.

“Think not that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to abolish but to bring them to perfection “(Matthew 5: 17).

It is a tremendous mistake to believe that Jesus came to change and abolish laws or simply debunk the prophets or those who have taught us to live the Divine Law. Jesus did not come to reject what was done by the prophets; He came to bring to perfection and fullness to the way that had been initiated long before.

It is a mistake for someone to say, “Do not worry about the commandments [of God]! It is important only to love. When we love we already do everything! “It’s true that love is the fullness of divine law, but at the same time, it helps us fulfill the precepts of God’s law and put into practice the commandments of God’s Law.

We can not fall into the mistake of disregarding the laws of God and simply say, “I love a lot! I give my best for my neighbor. “ We can not give up any of Jesus’ teachings or fail to teach others to obey them or teach them how to follow them incorrectly.

Jesus teaches us with the Laws and Commandments of God. It is not enough to teach theories to people, we need to teach the life, you need to embody the commandments and live them; so others will look at us and say, “This is how we live.”

The moral authority of Jesus constrained some, causing discord in the hearts of others, but appealed to everyone, because the truth attracts, but this also causes repulsion in those who do not want to live according to it.

Who has a pure heart, who does righteousness, who have sincerity with himself recognizes and feels totally attracted by the beauty of those who live according to God’s grace! So it’s not important to know the laws ot no only by the letters, it is important to know the spirit of the law!

Often we care to live only the precepts, the minutia and forget that the most important reality is to live what is the spirit of God’s law. The letter enslaves and kills; while the Spirit gives life, the fullness and meaning of what we do and live!

May the Lord teach us to live and to teach others His laws and His commandments!

God bless you!
