Today, we are reflecting that Jesus has authority over demons and evil spirits. The authority, which comes from the Father, acts on the power of the Spirit and is increasingly recognized by the people, above all, because it is not human, but a life. He lives what he preaches, what you believe; He is covered in grace from above.
When we live consistent life in God, the demons have no power over us because they do not mix with what is pure, fair and correct.
Who of us live a hundred percent pure or healthy? We can all strive to live a life of purity and integrity in thoughts and feelings and will and, even more, the submit ourselves to the authority of Jesus, because He has power over the unclean spirits.
The demons are evil spirits who are there to oppress humanity, overwhelm the hearts and sow confusion among us. Many times, we arrived at a place where things are lost, pernicious, it seems that everything is sour and bitter. We need to invoke the authority of Jesus on this House, on this place and this family.
When we look at our own lives, it’s not like we’re possessed by the devil and he is reigning in us; not contaminated by what demons sow in the air, but we live surrounded by people and situations in front of which, often, there is slander, gossip and conversations. How many of we let these things get into our ears and everything goes to our head and our heart? They are things that just make us ill! This overwhelms us inside and out!
We need to submit to the authority of Jesus, for him to purify our heart, to send away from us all evil action.
We must not let the demons speak in us and through us; We need to say what Jesus said and do what he did: “Silence! Shut up! “. When the confusion, resentment, hatred and the untruth begin to take strength in our environment, we need to be clothed by the force from on high and do not allow the evil one to act on us, because we serve the true God!
