The Family that Prays Together, Stays Together

“They all continued steadfastly in prayer in common, along with some women, including Mary, mother of Jesus, and with the brothers of Jesus.” (Acts 1.14)

The Acts of the Apostles is keen to register the importance of prayer in the early Church and as the Virgin Mary is present in great anticipation of the Holy Spirit.
We also, in this day and age, we have the immense need to meet to pray together as a family, in prayer groups, in Christian communities, invoking the maternal presence of our Lady for our perseverance in the faith and in the testimony of his son Jesus.

Ever since I was little, my parents prayed the Rosary with the children. The rosary means “wreath”. Each Hail Mary prayed is a rose that is offered to our Lady. In my house, we pray together every day the Holy Rosary. A family that prays together, stays together!

Come, Holy Spirit, help us to persevere in prayer. Hail Mary, full of grace …

Holy Mother of God, pray for us!
