The Lord Will Answer Our Faithful Prayers Made in Accordance to the Father's Will

Márcio Mendes, on the Canção Nova TV Show “Smiling at Life” invites us to trust in God because everything we have asked the Lord, He will answer us through our faith

Márcio Mendes meditated on the Gospel of St. Matthew and, guided by this passage, invited us to think about faith, because God never fails to answer the prayer of one, moved by the Holy Spirit, and who persists in his pleadings. Check out the transcript from this show:

The meditated Word today is in St Matthew 9:27-31
“The Healing of Two Blind Men And as Jesus passed on from there, two blind men followed [him], crying out, “Son of David, have pity on us!” When he entered the house, the blind men approached him and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I can do this?” “Yes, Lord,” they said to him. Then he touched their eyes and said, “Let it be done for you according to your faith.” And their eyes were opened. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.” they went out and spread word of him through all that land. NAB

The Gospel tells the story of those two blind men who felt in Jesus the father’s presence and Him recognized as son of the most high, so they find Him to be healed. Meeting Christ, they were questioned by the Lord. The same question He makes to us today: “do you believe I can do this?”, because they went to Jesus to be healed of blindness.

How many people who are tired and worn. How many today intercede for a loved one! There are so many situations that afflict us, but if we present to the Lord all we can, He will perform a miracle in our lives. If a person approaches him with faith and asks him something, he’s never sent away empty-handed.

Before our cries, what would happen if the Lord spoke to us what He spoke to those blind: do you believe I can do this?”, . We are confident to the point of obtaining the miracle that both have order? Let us not forget that no earthly circumstance has the power to prevent the grace of God in our lives. If the Lord gives us his word, nothing can change.

When we pray in the power of the Holy Spirit and our prayer is in accordance with the will of the father, he helps us. However, if we don’t have confidence and started to doubt of the Lord, we will not be met. Have the courage to pray with the lips and especially with the heart.

Let us approach the foot of the cross of the Lord, because he loves us and does not send us away without answers. Our biggest problem today is  uncertainty. The world has educated us to look over our  shoulder. But we trust in the word of the Father, and he doesn’t disappoint.

Let us follow the example of those blind men, because they teach us how to pray to find God and be healed. They leave us an itinerary:

-Follow Jesus: The blind didn’t ask where He is, but hearing His voice, they followed him, even if it’s not answered immediately by Christ. When we can’t see anything in our life, let us listen to the voice of the Lord and walk where He guides us.

-Claim the miracle and never be discouraged: They were going back to Christ and not discouraged until He answer. We must insist with the Lord in prayer. When we trust in God, we continue to insist, because faith leads us to expect and insist on the grace of the Lord.

To be healed we must trust and forgive. If we want to be cured, we need to forgive the people who don’t deserve our forgiveness. Let’s leave everything behind and follow him, crying out to Him and relying on God’s grace.
