More than spreading the divine mercy it is necessary that each one is the sanctuary of mercy
In the year 2002 I was at a PHN retreat in the town of Araras, São Paulo, Brazil. Early on, the Lord gave me the wordof 2 Cr -16 7.15: “my eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayers made in this place. For now I have chosen and bsanctified this House dedicated to my name forever. My eyes and my heart will be in it all the time “.
God was working on me this Word and at the end of the day, when I celebrated the closing mass of the meeting, I was moved to proclaim and enshrine Canção Nova as “the place of divine mercy”.
A place where people could bring their hopes and miseries in the confidence of being met. Place of God’s unlimited will in receiving His children to concretely have an experience with his mercy.
In the Canção Nova everything is born of inspiration
In my life and in the life of Canção Nova all you need is born of divine inspiration. Plus, I often say that are just 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, namely, being obedient to the will of God and divine inspiration, we rolled the sleeves and put into practice what the Lord asks us.
Once again, I experienced the divine inspiration in my life and now it was time to put it into practice. Sure it was to build a great sanctuary, an architectural work able to welcome the thousands of pilgrims who visit Canção Nova every year.
Whose Dimensions show the limitless desire of the heart of Jesus to receive a multitude of children of the Father, especially the sinners, the most miserable, the most desperate, those who no longer have anything to count on, but the divine mercy.
The word tells us that Jesus, seeing the crowds, had compassion on them, because they were tired and worn like sheep that have no Shepherd. That is what He wants to do in this Sanctuary: have a Father to His Son’s contact with the people, with his people.
I also saw that the will of God father was to go beyond: all Canção Nova to be this great sanctuary of divine mercy.We are all chosen, consecrated to be the heart, the face, the smile of Jesus to each other. For that to come to our House, I at first felt the trust and love of Christ himself in his infinite mercy.
It is not, however, just to spread the devotion to the divine mercy. It is to experience his mercy on us! To do this, the Lord forms us, individually and all of us into one body, for we are the bearers of his mercy. A beautiful mission that the Lord gives us. We are the great sanctuary of the divine mercy.
