We all need to have a personal encounter with Jesus
“And Jesus came into the quarters of Caesarea Philippi: and he asked his disciples, saying: Whom do men say that the Son of man is? But they said: Some John the Baptist, and other some Elias, and others Jeremias, or one of the prophets. Jesus saith to them: But whom do you say that I am? “. (Mt 16:13-15 D-R)
That Word has marked my life and my vocation. It was Jesus asking me: “you, Jonas, who am I?”.
It’s hard to explain. I was in the final year of seminary. I knew all about Jesus, had studied about him. But, a personal encounter with the Lord I had not yet had.

You that already had this personal encounter with Jesus, you know what I’m talking about, but who hasn’t had it, needs to have it. This is not something for a privileged few, but for everyone. We need this personal encounter.
Through this meeting, Jesus becomes someone alive for us. From that date, you feel His love and His presence.
Request: Jesus, grant me the grace of this meeting with Your person. That I may understand your love and your presence in my day to day life.
