Friar Antônio Moser was host of the TV program Em Pauta on Canção Nova

Cachoeira Paulista, Sao Paulo, Brazil–Canção nova received with sadness the news of the  death of Friar Antonio Moser, victim on Wednesday of an attempted robbery, when he was on his way to participate in the recording of a program on Canção Nova TV.

Friar Moser – Director of the Brazilian publisher Editora Vozes professor of Moral theology and bioethics – hosted since 2005 the program “Em Pauta”, always with enthusiasm and determination.

A man of God, of great wisdom, he was one of 11 Brazilians invited by Pope Francis at the Synod of families last year. His passionate defense of life, of the dignity of the human being, illuminated us and it will not be erased by this act of violence.
