Jesus will come a second time?

“Blessed are those who find their pleasure in the law of God, for the path of the wicked, those who don’t care about God, leads to death” (Psalm 1)

When Jesus speaks about his coming, he tells three parables. The first is the parable of the ten virgins;the second, of talents; and the third he talks about his second coming, when he separates, before him, the good and the bad. [the sheep (good) on one side and the goats (bad) on the other.]

Second coming of Jesus

The Lord wants us all to be on the side of the sheep. Through the liturgy, (not by our choice), Jesus speaks of his coming in glory, so we’re not afraid, but we’re prepared for it. He will come a second time! If the first was so important that he sent John the Baptist to prepare for it, the second will be final, because the doors of heaven will then be closed.

Some, as the Word shows us today, scoff at, saying it’s lost time to serve the Lord. But, in fact, seeking Him is a necessity for us. Do not despise those who haven’t had that experience, because you don’t want to eliminate or condemn anyone.

God is merciful, so he sent Jonah to preach at Nineveh with harsh words, so that the people were touched, just because the Lord does not want to punish.

Violent in prayer and evangelization

Even within our family, people are divided between those who are with the Lord and those who do not want to know him. But he wants you to allow yourself to follow His path, and strive to remove the others from the wrong path and bring them back not with simple words, but with intense prayer and prayer and evangelization.

The Gospel comes to bring us this reality (cf. lk -13 11.5), on one unfortunate man’s situation who will seek to borrow bread at the home of a friend, and he only does this because of his insistence. Jesus teaches us that we must be persistent with our prayers.

He says in the word of God: “if you then, being evil, know how to give good things to your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask for it”.

The power of the Holy Spirit

The recipe for us and for those who are away from the Lord is the Holy Spirit. Look well, it won’t be by our insistence, but by the Holy Spirit; It is he who will prepare the second life in the Lord.

Now, everything is defined. It’s not for us to be afraid, but to seek the Holy Spirit. It is not so that we lose, but in an effort to search for that the grace to receive from him, also for those who are on the wrong path that they receive this grace and be ready for his coming.
