Note, save and meditate the word of God, because when we do, our soul begins to experience the taste for eternity

“Verily, verily, I say to you: If someone keeps my Word will never see death” (John 8, 51).

Our God is the God of life, is the one who brings meaning and fullness forever to us, because the life which the Lord has given us became corrupted by sin and was dead. The one who gave us life came to rescue us and give full meaning to our lives again.

When we are in Jesus, when we give our lives to him, we do not fear nor death. How many sad people are there without hope or comfort not knowing what to do! When death knocks at the door of someone, when we lose a loved one, it is clear that the pain comes to our heart, we are human and we miss that person. The problem, however, is not how much she did, but we lose the breath of life when we stop to think about our lives.

When we asked people what they fear most, they answer us the day they will die. Who fears death doesn’t know the meaning of life, has not fully give his life to Christ and has not started to taste, the land and the value of eternity.

What to do with our lives? We keep the word of God, let us live and be filled in our life with eternal words. Amid so many activities that we have in this life, we cling too hard on the earthly and become focused only on the Earth. Our life is not only Earth, and yet we have to live all the things we need, we must not lose the sense of eternity!

Observe, keep and meditate on the word of God, because when we do that, our soul begins to experience the taste for eternity, the taste of the things of heaven, the value of spiritual goods; so, our hearts begin to look at things above!

We can’t live alienated, despising this world, as if nothing mattered. However, we can’t give too much importance to our earthly activities, because everything passes. We can’t enter eternity if we stay our entire life focused on this earth.

We give meaning and eternal value to everything we do, so we will know that living the word of God in our everyday life, we know that the good we do can on Earth whether anyone appreciates it, still goes for eternity. We can suffer the injuries of the other, be misunderstood in this life by others, but are understood by God! We could lose everything, but we will win everything forever when our heart is focused on the Lord our greatest wealth!

Keep His Word so that we prepare for eternal life, and death has no power over us!
