Deacon Nelson Correa, invites us to ask the Holy Spirit to come upon us, to boost us to live our mission.
The words for reflection are in Genesis 1.1 -2 and Jeremiah 1.5:
“In the beginning, God created the heaven and the Earth. The Earth was deserted and empty, and darkness covered the abyss and the spirit of God hovered over the waters. “ (Genesis 1.1 -2)
“Before forming you in the womb of your mother, I knew you, before you left her womb, I consecrated you to myself and made you Prophet to the Nations” (Jeremiah 1.5)

At the beginning of creation, the Earth was empty, but the Holy Spirit already hovered over the waters. Just as before we were formed in the womb of our mother, when the Lord already counted on us For a long time, the Father counts on us and does not give up on us!
Let’s be convinced in our heart today and say to him: “God counts on me”. Let us pray: “Holy Spirit, let my heart be open to the word of God, the good and the beauty of God every day.”
The Holy Spirit illuminates our lives and inspires our attitudes. That our hearts be open to the good and to the holy. The Holy Spirit counts on us in the Mission of doing good. Through baptism, He dwells in our hearts and give us direction in our decisions.
